When should I contact a new student?

Written by Daphne Lim - Updated

You have to contact a new student within 24 hours.

KIS Academics lets students and parents know that they’ll be contacted within 24 hours to provide them with the smoothest experience possible. As such, if a tutor fails to contact a new client request within this 24 hour window on 3 occasions, KIS Academics reserves the right to terminate their contract.

You’ll get a slack message soon after the student/parent makes a tutoring request, and it’ll have all their details. In addition, you’ll receive an email and text message detailing the new request immediately after the student submits it.

What Should I Say?

Here is a guide: Making First Contact

Should I Call the Student?

Yes! Call first, then send them a message and email if they do not pick up: Should I call, text, or email a customer?

What if I cannot take on a New Request?

If you have further questions, feel free to shoot a message to #help channel on Slack, or send an email to contact@kisacademics.com
