How to run tutoring lessons online

It's important to have a good computer setup to run regular tutoring lessons or study skills sessions online and make sure your software works smoothly.
If you're a brand new tutor and aren't sure what to use for your online lessons, a few platforms KIS recommends are:
These are just a few examples of platforms that are commonly used by KIS tutors to run online lessons. You're welcome to use any appropriate platform to run your lessons. The main things to consider are:
- Both you and your student must be happy to use the platform
- The platform should run smoothly on both your device and your student's device with each of your internet connections
- The platform should have screen-sharing capabilities (relevant for almost all subjects!)
- You should never share any passwords or personal information on online calls
