What is "Send Invoice"?

When you select this option we'll send the student/parent an email asking them to pay for your lesson. We'll provide them with a link they can use to enter their payment details and pay for that invoice.Â
This should be used for your first lesson with a new student as they don't have any payment details saved. After that, you can just auto-charge the student. However, if the student/parent has requested for manual payments, or have simply requested for you to send them an invoice every lesson, you will have to "send invoice" for every lesson.Â
What do I do if my Student wants to pay Manually Instead?
Easy, just send them our way. Tell them to send an email to contact@kisacademics.com to say they would prefer manual payments, and we will handle it!Â
On your end, you will just find that you are unable to press "auto-charge" for that student on the KIS App. In that case, just send them an invoice after every lesson.Â
Help, I sent the Wrong Invoice!
If you sent a wrong invoice and require it to be voided, there is a one hour window after making a charge to cancel it before the student gets billed. You can simply click on the “Pending” charge in the KIS App, then select “Cancel”.Â
However, if you miss that window, you can send a message to #help channel on Slack, or an email to contact@kisacademics.com with the name of the student (as it appears on the KIS App) and the details of the invoice that you want voided. Please do this asap, before the customer sends us an email instead.
