Do I need to Chase up Late Payments or Payments that Fail?

Written by Daphne Lim - Updated

You do not need to follow up late payments or failed payments, and please DO NOT send the student another invoice. We also recommend holding off lessons until the previous invoice is paid for.

KIS will always chase up late payments because 99.9% of the time, it's just due to parents forgetting to check their emails for an invoice.

Can I chase them for payments myself?

If you want to send payment reminders yourself, you can definitely do that! You can send students a link to the payment page by clicking on a pending payment in the KIS App and copying the link as shown here.

What if the Student never pays?

Thus far, across thousands of lessons, we’ve had less than 0.0003% of students completely default on a payment and in the worst case scenario where that does happen, you have up to 2x payments with a student that are guaranteed by KIS.
