What is "Auto Charge"?

Auto charge means we'll automatically try to charge the card that's already on the student's file. This should only be used for your second lesson with the student onwards.

For some students, due to their preferences with payments, auto charge will be disabled. In that case, you will have to press the "Send Invoice" button after all your lessons. 

What do I do if my Student wants to pay Manually instead?

Easy, just send them our way. Tell them to send an email to contact@kisacademics.com to say they would prefer manual payments, and we will handle it! 

On your end, you will just find that you are unable to press "auto-charge" for that student on the KIS App. In that case, just send them an invoice after every lesson. 

Help! I sent the wrong invoice!

You have a one hour window after making a charge to cancel it before the student gets billed. You can simply click on the “Pending” charge in the KIS App, then select “Cancel”; refer to this article for more information: What if I accidentally submit an Incorrect Charge to a Student?

However, if you miss that window, you can send a message to #help channel on Slack, or an email to contact@kisacademics.com with the name of the student (as it appears on the KIS App) and the details of the invoice that you want voided. Please do this asap, before the student/parent sends us an email instead.
