Getting reviews from your students

Written by Daphne Lim - Updated

Reviews are a great way to attract more students to request you as a tutor. If you have past tutoring experiences, you can  reach out and ask them to leave you a review.

If you are a new tutor, we recommend completing at least 8 lessons with a student in order to show them that you’re an effective and reliable tutor before asking for a review.

Here’s a sample message you can send:

Hi _____! Hope you’re doing well. Just wanted to ask if you could do me a huge favour. Would you mind leaving me a tutoring review on google ( https://g.page/KIS-Academics/review?rc ) or trustpilot ( https://www.trustpilot.com/review/kisacademics.com )? Just mention my name somewhere in the review. It would mean a lot to hear your feedback, and I hope you’ve been enjoying the sessions! Thanks so much!

Help! My Student's Review is not on my Profile yet!

Don't worry, here are some reasons why this has happened:

  • Your student did not include your name in their review. If that is the case, please ask them to submit another review with your name included.
  • The reviews take some time to be uploaded. Give it 2 weeks.

If none of this fit your situation, then you can send a message to #help channel on Slack or send us an email at contact@kisacademics.com
