Asking KIS Academics for a reference for a rental application, job, internship and more

KIS Academics tutors are legally classified as a class of customers, so we cannot provide you with a performance or character reference. You share the same contract in our Terms of Service as students and parents approaching KIS Academics for help.
Is there ANY way I can get a reference from KIS?
Only if you have worked on small tasks and extra work through avenues such as our Job Board. These tasks may be blog posts, social media posts, and short term, one-off projects. In other cases, it may be longer term contracts that engage you for a long time doing an internal role.
If you anticipate wanting a reference from KIS Academics, please make sure to complete a role from the Job Board so that you can legally be classed as having performed work as a contractor for KIS Academics.
We will of course keep track of your lesson history, reviews from customers and interactions with the KIS Team in mind when it comes to providing a reference as well.
What happens if I ask for a Referral from KIS anyway?
We will check to see if you've done anything with us on Job Board. If you have not, we will let you know that we cannot give you a referral.
