When students ask Admin Questions

Written by Daphne Lim - Updated

Lesson-related questions ๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐ŸŽ“

Most of the time, students/parents will ask you questions directly related to your lessons, such as questions about:

  • Your subject
  • Study tips
  • How theyโ€™re progressing
  • Whether they can move a lesson to another time
  • What time their next session is
  • How to approach an assignment
  • How to answer a question
  • How to prepare for an exam

In these cases, you can answer them based on your own knowledge of the subject and experiences (within reason). You may even opt to show them some KIS resources like our Exam Preparation Module (Free)

Non-lesson related questions ๐Ÿ›ธ

Sometimes, theyโ€™ll ask you a question that is more admin-related instead. These questions may be about:

  • Getting a tutor for another subject
  • How to make payments
  • Whether theyโ€™ve received an invoice
  • Why the date of a charge on their bank statement is different
  • If they can change their card details
  • If they can use another payment method
  • How they can access KIS Plus or our online resources: refer to this article for this query
  • Why did I get charged a cancellation fee

In these cases, itโ€™s not your responsibility as a tutor to spend time researching and composing an answer to these questions. You can handball that off to us ๐Ÿˆ

Simply direct them to email us (contact@kisacademics.com), text us (+61 485 868 009) or just send them this link: https://kisacademics.com/w/contact-us

You can copy and paste this reply ๐Ÿ‘‡

Hmmm Iโ€™ll probably direct you straight to KIS as they can help you out better with that. Just go to this link and you can contact them and ask any question: https://kisacademics.com/w/contact-us

They usually respond pretty quickly!
