How do I change my availability for tutoring?

It's easy! Just use the button at the top of your KIS App when you log in:
When should I Change my Availability?
You can change your availability any time! Please remember to change your availability to "Not Available" if you are not able to take on new students. This is especially crucial if:
- You are leaving for a placement where you will have little to no internet access
- You are leaving on a holiday and are unable to contact new students
What do I do if I Forgot to switch my Availability Off and a Student requested me?
If you forgot to switch your availability off, and you get a new student request that you cannot take on, please follow these steps:
- You MUST contact the student first to apologise and let them know that you are unable to take them on. Do this ASAP.
- Email contact@kisacademics.com to let us know:
- which student this is (with the name that appears on the KIS App)
- subject they require tutoring for
- why you are unable to take them on
- Immediately go back to the KIS App and switch your availability OFF.
- Deactivate the pairing on the KIS App after we reply telling you to do so.
