Communication with the KIS Team

The KIS Admin team expects to be able to communicate with you and contact you when required. If your contact information has changed, especially your mobile number and email address, please contact us at contact@kisacademics.com immediately so that we can update your information on our system!
Communication via Slack 💬
KIS Academics uses Slack as our primary form of communication.
It's mandatory that you download Slack so we can get in touch with you when necessary. I recommend you download it on both your phone and your laptop (Here's the desktop link)
At the end of the onboarding process, we'll send you a link to join the KIS Academics Slack Workspace.
Communication via Email 📧
We also use emails to communicate. This is mostly to share important announcements, updates and to send you new tutor pairings.
Communication via Phone 📲
Finally, we also use text messages and calls to tutors to communicate. No need to really do anything here other than make sure your phone is on and you're able to receive calls from numbers that aren't in your contacts list (We won't hide our numbers though so we won't ring you with "No caller ID").
Do NOT block our number! If you've changed your mobile number, please keep us updated by sending an email to contact@kisacademics.com with your new number!
If you are going overseas and will not be able to receive text messages for that duration, let our admin team know by sending us a message on #help channel on Slack, or email us at contact@kisacademics.com !
