My Student has questions about KIS Plus; what do I tell them?

KIS Plus is KIS Academics' online program subscription that gives students access to ALL our online course content . More information can be found at this link (KIS Plus more info).

Students can get access to KIS Plus in one of two ways:

  1. Pay a $20 per week subscription to access everything
  2. Sign up for a tutoring service (Private or Group Tutoring) to get bonus access

Your students will receive an email to the main email address associated with their account (the one you also have on the KIS App) after their first paid lesson with you. That email will have a sign-in link to the KIS Customer portal, which they can use to create an account and access their bonus KIS Plus Subscription. 

Do note that this is the only resource your students will get access to; they WILL NOT receive access to the shared resources that only tutors like yourself have access to.

My Student Did not get the email to log into KIS Plus

Most of the time, it's because the email went to their spam folder, so:

  1. Please ask them to check the spam folder of the email account they used to sign up for tutoring (this is the same email you get on the KIS App).
  2. If they cannot find the KIS Customer Portal, direct them to this page: https://help.kisacademics.com/hc/en-us/categories/44046525720089--Customer-Portal
  3. Please remind them that if this is their first time accessing the Customer Portal, they will need to create an account first (again using the same email they used to sign up, which is the email you see on the KIS App).

If you, as a tutor, ever get asked about KIS Plus, feel refer the customer to the KIS Plus website or ask them to reach out for help at contact@kisacademics.com
